Hello All,
Finally the new brochure for 2003/04 has come out and I am planning a trip TO EGYPT in July next year.
I am looking for a good airline.
I am from Townsville - Queensland - Australia, however I will probably have to travel to my nearest capital city which would be BRISBANE - Queensland - Australia.
I have never travelled overseas before and I am looking at a good comfortable airline, which doesn't have too much of a high price for airfares!!!
So far I have looked at Singapore Airlines, Emirates & United Airlines. Does anybody have any other suggestions?
I will be booking through a travel agent, but I would like to find out what sort of costs I am up for so I can work out a budget and deposit before booking.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou.
Nicole

Re: Airlines
Hi Nicole,
I am from Brisbane and am actually heading off to Egypt next week. I had trouble getting good airline seats because i left my run too late. But then again, booking really early also tends to produce high cost seats until they release cheaper ones at later dates.
I am actually booked to fly to Cairo with Qantas on a really cheap deal which is great. Except from Bangkok, Qantas has a deal with Kuwait Airways to take you the rest of the way. I am pretty hesitant about Kuwait Airways but i have been assurred by others they are really good......who knows. I will let you know what they are like. This was only an attractive deal for the price.
I suggest Singapore Airlines......can be expensive but good airline....sometimes they give free stopovers too depending when u travel.
Good luck with your decision
Matt
Re: Airlines
Hi
I am from Adelaide and we are flying out on 5 December on Malaysian airlines (one of the best in the world). Not only did we get a good deal on flights, but Malaysian fly all the way to Cairo.
We go via Kuala Lumpur and because of a missed connection Malaysian airlines put us up in KL for the night for free each way.
Not sure if they fly direct from Brisbane though - may be worth a look.
