Hi,
I will take part in the tour mentioned above and am wondering if any of the other travelers post in this forum. Lat time I asked there were 5 people booked on this tour and I hope there are more in the meantime. I am wondering how cold it is going to be, if I need a sleeping bag, if we have a local guide, how safe it is likely to be, considering the upcoming war.. after all, it is a Muslim country.. My folks are also a bit worried ("you always choose the most dangerous countries to travel to"..)!
Best regards from Vienna,
Namikwa

Re: Anybody booked on Nile and Sinai starting on February 1???
Hi Namikwa,
I have just returned from time in Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and Malaysia. Apart from Turkey all was done through Imaginative Traveller. We had a great time, everything was organised really well and our tour leaders (Kirsten and Rob) were both fantastic. I am sure that once you are there you will wonder what all the media hype is about.
As for travelling through Muslim countries, as all the countries we visited were mainly Muslim I can honestly say we had a great time and everyone was very friendly and polite. In particular we loved the Egyptian humour.
I think you'll have a great time - enjoy!!
Sonja.
