Aqaba to Dahab

I'm doing the Jordan Insight trip 22 Oct and want to go to Dahab afterwords without having to fly all the way from Amman to Sharm El Shaik. I read there is a fast ferry between Aqaba and Nuweiba... Can anybody give me advise on this?

I took the ferry from Aqaba to Nuweiba then bussed it to Dahab.
Super easy to do. I think the ferry took about 2-3 hours max. Customs was a hoot at Nuweiba - people with carts full to topple, people rushing about and pushing in, and hot... but we were still through in under 15minutes.
If you are doing the Jordan trip - it is probable that your tour leader and part of your tour will be heading into Egypt anyway. While you can't officially travel with them for insurance reasons, your leader will help you get your ticket etc, and assist you in making sure you get on the right bus in Nuweiba.... Just give them a killer tip [Wink]
