Can anyone provide information on availability of ATMs in Jordan & Syria? Thanks!

Hi Armanda,

Yes there are ATM's in Jordan though very few, but in Syria they are almost non-existent. You will find them in Syria, but not easily.

As you can imagine, more & more are slowly appearing over time, especially in the main Towns and Cities, like Aqaba and Amman,but it is always recommended that you do not rely on them as your main, or only source of changing money.

Cards have often been "chewed up" by the machines. They can sometimes be "out of order" or even "out of money".
