Hi everyone again, I amgoing to have a day free in cairo this comming monday and wanted come cheapish - med price nice cotten shirts. I am staying at the Salma hotel, if anyone knows of any good clothes shops near by etc: give us a yell Cheers

I'd try either the Nile Hilton Mall, the world trade centre or if you're lucky Khan-el-Khalilli bazarre, huge place great to visit anyway!

Hi Ivestar,

The Nile Hilton Mall is OK if you just want to buy a touristy 'Egypt' T-shirt but, as you'd expect, you'll pay top dollar.

There are heaps of places to buy good shirts and T-shirts in Cairo, Luxor and Hurghada.
One place that I know a lot of people rate highly is Mobaco. There are several shops in Cairo and one in Luxor. I believe there is a Cairo shop on Shahab Street. Also on Shahab Street, near Mobaco, you'll find other clothes shops as well.
