My wife and I are booked on the July 28th Beyond the Pyramids. I was just wondering if we will be going to the Museum in Cairo as a group or if its something we should plan on seeing on our own. Thanks.

Thanks for the post. You will have the chance to get a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum on day 2 of the tour after you have been to the Pyramids.
The group or individuals who would like to have a guided tour of the Museum can pay extra for an afternoon at the Museum.
It is very worthwhile to visit the Museum with a guide as it sets you up well with knoweledge for the rest of the tour. In my experience the vast majority of people opt for this excursion on day two.
