My spouse and I am leaving for "Beyond the Pyramids" tour this Sunday. If you would like we can let you know how it was when we return. It seems to me, by reading all the posts and replies, each tour seems wonderful!

I did the "Beyond the Pyramids" tours and honestly the best part of the Sinai is not the Red Sea but the 3 day trek. Indeed the trek in the Sinai was one of the highlights of the whole tour - the scenery it truly beautiful. On the whole I think the Red Sea is very overated, the coral is mainly dead.

Hi there
I think it depends on what you are looking for. When I did Beyond the Pyramids we visited both Hurghada and Sharks Bay. One night in Hurgharda was more than enough, from what I saw it's just a town by the sea, not very pretty. I found relaxing at Sharks bay after the 3 day trek was perfect. You can go diving if you want to or just snorkel. Most of the reef close to shore is dead because idiots keep walking on it despite all the signs saying not to but if you go out a bit (only about 10 metres or so, still very safe) you can see some amazing coral and the fish are fantastic!
