I'm planning on doing the BTP or the sailtrek sinai tour and I can't decide. What are the major differences between them as they seem pretty similar to me? Also does the weather warm up in March? That's when I was planning on going. Thanks a lot.

Re: BTP or Sinai/Sailtrek
Hi Al,
The Sailtrek & Sinai tour do a 'camel trek' into the desert and return to Dahab for the night. The Beyond The Pyramids in the summer itinerary do a three day trekking adventure into the sinai desert. In Winter months this is an overnight trekking adventure with two nights at the Bedouin beach camp of Dahab. There are more meals etc included in this tour but the main difference is the trekking.
In the month of March the weather in Upper Egypt begins to warm up but the desert (Sinai) will ramin cool at night and moderate temp in the day.
