We take such situations very seriously and are currently monitoring the situation. I have been in contact with operations and the Cairo office. The Cairo office has first hand information and has said that everything is

We found a lot of police in all the tourist areas. The bazarr where the attack occurred had a Tourist police officier about every 20 -30 feet in the main section. We found them checking boxes and bags of locals in a few places. This was not at all as scary as it sounds. We felt quite safe and tour guide kept us posted on the situation.
