Clothing to for Egypt/Jordan Caravan Feb-March

I was just wondering what a person should bring for clothing for the Egypt/Jordan Caravan. We have booked for the Feb 23 - Mar 10 slot.

Thanks for your post.

While you can expect Egypt, in particular the south, to be warm at this time of year, you may find that it's quite cool in Jordan. You should bring a thick fleece for colder days.

Other things that you should bring, in addition to the ussual holiday clothes, are a good pair of walking shoes (you'll be doing some pretty extensive walking around Petra and up Mount Sinai), and a sun hat for those lazy afternoons sitting on the Nile cruise boat.

You'll find that Egyptians and Jordanians don't really wear shorts, and find the concept a little strange. There's no actual need to wear long trousers apart from in a few places, but you might feel more comfortable if you do.
