We are travelling to Egypt in early Sept and were wondering if we will need to take any warm clothes for at night? I know it will be pretty hot during the day but I am unsure about night time... thanks! [Wink]

Re: Cold nights in Egypt

Hello Kiwi,

As Egypt is a desert country it can get quite cool after the sun sets, so I would suggest packing perhaps a lightweight windproof jacket or a jumper/sweater/fleece.

Hope this helps, have a wonderful holiday....Debbie.

[Wink] [/b][/quote]Hi there, we just got back from Egypt on Friday 12th Aug and it was lovely and warm in the evenings about 20 C (sorry don't know Farenheit!)

I took a jacket and never used it, take a lightweight cotton cardigan or pashmina-scarf if you're worried.
