I have lots of questions!
I would like to do two tours in May 2005 - probably Beyond the Pyramids followed by Moroccan Caravan. Do many people combine tours like this and is it feasible? I am 21, reasonably fit and have backpacked through Asia on a shoestring budget so I don't see fatigue as being a problem.
In regards to flights - I am in Australia, but will be flying in/out of the UK next year. Is it easier to book online, from the UK site rather than through an Aussie travel agent so I can arrange flights through Imaginative Traveller at the same time. Will they be able to help me with a flight between Egypt and Morrocco?
Also, it is likely I will have at least a few days between tours which I will have to spend in either Cairo or Casablanca. I am a bit nervous about this. As I have said, I have backpacked before but never by myself or in the Middle East. I am 21 but am often mistaken for much younger as I am very small. Am I likely to have to spend the time holed up in my hotel room? Which city is safer? I speak some French so I thought it might be easier to get around in Casablanca?
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Re: Combining Tours
Hey Milly
Combining tours and Fitness
Lots of people combine tours and as long as you are active you will have no problem with the fitness side -nothing is a race - Take your time and you will see more.
Flights.
It is true that flights can be chaeper from the UK but not always.
Cairo or Casablanca?
I'm a big Cairo nut and think it has more to offer than Cassablanca but then I am biased. A tip: if you book extra accom through these guys you know there will be other travellers around so you won't need to be "stuck in your room" Or why not bug one of the tour leaders hanging around the hotel? they will be very happy to tell you of a cool bar, cafe or secret sight to visit. Remember Cairo has 18 million people if you can't find anything to do you never will.
Both cities are safe if you use your sense and as you have BP'd around Asia you will find much the same hassles. A lot safer than LA, NYC or London that is for sure.
Say hello to Mohammed the carpet seller for me. You will meet him on every street corner :-)

Re: Combining Tours
Hi Milly,
There is no reason why you cannot combine two tour's in Egypt and Morocco. We can arrange for you to stay in our hotel in between - whether you decide to stay in Cairo or Casablanca.
If you are flying from the UK then it will more than likely be cheaper to book them from the UK . This is because in Australia they do not consolidate (bulk buy) seats from the UK therefore making them cheaper. We can arrange flights for you when you book your tour with us if you want us too.
I hope this helps.
