Contact lenses

I'm going to be travelling to Egypt in July. I realise this may be a strange question, but has anyone ever experienced any problems wearing or cleaning contact lenses out there. I am concerned about the effects that the heat may have?

I was on the Nile Safari in February, and always wore contacts. I never had a problem, even riding camels in the desert. I wouldn't imagine the July heat will pose much of a problem.

I also had no problems wearing my contacts. You might want to get some of that hand cleanser (the type that doesn't require water), so you can disinfect before touching your eye if you're on a felucca.
