Day trip to Alexandria

Our trip finishes in Cairo. How feasible is it to do a day trip to Alexandria from Cairo, the day of a tour ending? I see on the itinerary that it says the tour finishes after Breakfast.

In theory this is variable ,however this will need to be confirmed at the time of booking as is something that we consider on a case by case basis.
