Dead Sea whilst in Jordan ?

Hi,

Booked in for the Egpyt- Jordan Caravan trip. Just wanting to know if there is any chance of going to the Dead Sea as part of the journey, since we are passing very close by ? Anyone know if its possible or been done on some trips.

I went on this trip recently and we were given the option to go to the Dead Sea on the final afternoon (after the trip to Jerash). I think it cost ~ 16 JD but it was worth it.

Hi Globetrotter,

Just to confirm what TRRK said - this is an optional extra at the end of your trip and can be arranged locally. Most people tend to want to go along and check it out whilst in Amman.
