I will go on the Desert & Kasbahs tour on the 27.05.2006. How is the temperature, can it be cold? Will I need a sleeping bag for the desert camp and/or camel ride trip or is a sheet warm enough?

Re: Desert & Kasbahs
Hello Nicole,
I did the Deserts and Kasbahs tour in October 2004. Although the temperatures are quite different in May (being warmer) it still cools down considerably at night in the desert. I would highly recommend you bring a sleeping bag with you.
I chose to sleep just under the stars rather than in a tent and it was such a treat. I used only my sleeping bag and was very comfortable. The blankets provided in the tents are a bit scratchy.
Nowadays sleeping bags are made so compact, they barely take up any space.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday.
