Hi, I will be on the Sailtrek and Sinai Tour in December. When I was in Australia I had plenty of possibilities on my tour to wash my clothes in hostels with washing machines. Now I ask myself if there will be a few hotels on the Sailtrek&Sinai tour with washing machines available? Thus I don't need to carry much clothes with me.

Thanks for your post.
As specified in the trip dossier, a laundry service is available in most hotels used by Imaginative Traveller in Egypt, especially those in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, all of which the Sailtrek and Sinai tour visits. This should help you cut down on luggage.

It's quite cheap to have your laundry done for you whilst in Egypt. All of the Hotels I have stayed in, in Egypt, have provided this service. It was a prompt & very reasonably priced service.

I found the laundry service in Luxor was expensive, price per item, plus ironing, so I would wait until Dahab, on the second Monday to do ALL of the laundry, much cheaper & you don't have to push the staff to get the laundry before you join a convoy.
