I was thinking of doing the Felucca or Sinai tour in either late december or february. Which would be better - weather-wise etc?

Also does going over Christmas and New Year's eve cause major disruptions to travel?

Thanks.

Re: Egypt - February or December

Hi Alex,

The weather in late December will be slightly warmer than late February. It will be noticeably cooler in the evenings on the Nile in February. However, both these times are busy periods in Egypt so ensure you book soon so as to avoid disappointment.

Christmas and New Year holidays result in no disruptions to our tours abroad (we cannot guarantee that all flights etc will run on time as this is out of our hands) but usually travellers don't have many delays as a result of the holidays.
During Ramadan there will be disruptions, although they come as part of the experience of travelling to a Muslim country during this great month long festival.

Cheers

Marty
