Hi
We are looking at doing the above tour at the end of December/early Jan and I have a couple of questions.
1. Everyone on the board sounds 20s/30s! We are a couple in our forties and our two (very personable!) teenagers will be accompanying us. Will the youngish and young at heart feel welcome on these tours?
2. The tour ends in Amman and we need to get back to Cairo for our return flight. How do we do that?
Thanks

Re: Egypt/Jordan Caravan
Hello AliB,
I'm in my 40's & had a great time on the Nile Safari. Yes some of your group will be in their 20's & 30's & some may be in their 70's as there was in the tour I did. The older members were often the life of the party. I think you will all be made most comfortable, so just look forward to having a great time . I have looked on the net for flights from Amman to Cairo as I was thinking of doing that myself oneday. These flights are relativly cheap, so that might be an idea.
Take care, have a great time...wish I could join you.

Re: Egypt/Jordan Caravan
Hi there,
40's isn't old!
The average age of our clients is around 21-35 but we have many people booking with us beyond that. You won't feel out of place at all and neither will you feel like Mum and Dad to a group of kids.
If you wanted to book a flight between Amman and Cairo through us it would cost:
GBP222.00
Please let me know if there's anything else.

Re: Egypt/Jordan Caravan
Hi, my husband & I did the Nile Safari in October/00...Me in my late 30's & my husband in his early 40's....There were people way older than us on the tour. Age is not an issue when travelling...we all just blended in together & had a great time!! Enjoy your trip!!!!
Re: Egypt/Jordan Caravan
Glad to hear this. My wife and I are considering one of these trips and would be taking our 14 year old God daughter and her 47 year old mother as our guests. We don't consider ourselves to be "too old" but when you have spent 4 decades traveling to Egypt as I have, you don't want to be the oldest donut left in the box.
Re: Egypt/Jordan Caravan
Hi Larry,
Sorry to be the voice of doom but:
The Imaginative Traveller does not accept bookings from minors (-18). We feel that as an adventure travel operator we cannot be responsible for those under the accepted age of responsibility.
This has been a longstanding policy of our company and not one we can make exception to.
I hope I haven't spoilt your plans. Please drop me a line if there's anything else.
