I've been following ImTrav Forums for years and have traveled with the company but never to Egypt. However I am about to change that and wondered what is the best way to fly from Australia (we live in Canberra).

LOL.....does Canberra have an International airport??....please excuse my ignorance!!
My mind is telling me NO, but then it says...why not??
My advice would be to find an airfare that you are OK with & just enjoy the ride!
I have visited Egypt a number of times now & have travelled with different companies, but the main airline I have used is Emirates. Not often the cheapest, but very much good quality! I have flown with KLM, AirItalia, Emirates & Gulf.
Friends have told me that Singapore a very good. The latest airline I have been given the thumbs up for by friends is Edhad (hope that is the correct spelling).
I guess you have to decide how direct you want to fly & where you would like any stop overs. I LOVE Dubai & enjoy any stops there. If Canberra dosen't have an International airport then you have the choice of either Sydney or Melbourne departures.
