Hi there,
just wondering with the jewels tour if there is time on the Saturday to climb Mt Sinai and visit St Catherine's monastery before it closes at midday??

Not sure if the tour has changed at all but when I went last August we were able to do both things.

Hi Mel and Lyn,

This is still the case; on day 13, which is a Friday, you will have time to complete both the trek to the summit of Mt. Sinai and to pay a short visit to the monastery before departing for Cairo. Let your tour leader know your plans so that they can assist you with fitting both in before the bus ride back to Cairo.

Yes plenty of time after the climb to get yourself cleaned up/warmed up and back to the monastry.....it downpoured during our decent from Mt Sinai (which apparently is not normal)! : )
