I'm booked with a friend to do the Jewels of Egypt tour starting this coming Sunday (Dec. 24).

I have a question regarding the hotel we will be staying the night before (Dec. 23) and the night after (Jan. 7) the tour. We have a Booking Number (REF073333) but we are not clear on what hotel we'll be staying at on those days. Will it be the Salma Hotel (meeting point for this tour)?

Thanks in advance for your clarification before we leave for this tour... counting the days !!!

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your questions.

Your additional nights accommodation in Cairo will indeed be in the departure hotel, which is scheduled to be the Salma Hotel so there's no need to change hotel at the start or end of your tour.

It then looks that we are gonna be at the Salma Hotel for those couple of extra nights... thanks for the clarification.

Hi Alexa,

That's right - as a rule of thumb, any additional accommodation that we book for our travellers will be in the departure/ending hotel unless otherwise stated.
