Thanks for your question.

The answer is that we do not yet have a schedule for 2008 (for this tour) past the 19th May. It is however likely that the tour, or a close alternative, will continue to operate throughout 2008 departing every second Monday. This will be confirmed in November when our 2008 brochure is released.

Thanks Brendon. I have another question for you. I am still trying to figure out my vacation for next year and I want to do Egypt and Jordan, however I have my heart set on doing the Treasures of the Nile Valley tour for Egypt. My problem is trying to come up with a way to link into a Jordan tour without having to have a lot of down time in between. If I were to do Petra to the Pyramids (June 22 - July 1, 2008) and Treasures of the Nile Valley (June 29 - July 12, 2008) there is a bit of overlap - my question is what time does the Petra to the Pyramids tour get into Cairo on June 30? Would it be in time to hook up with the Treasures of the Nile tour? Or, is there another tour that would work in combination with the Treasures of the Nile Valley that I am not seeing? Sorry for the long post. Thanks

Thanks for your question and apologies that nobody has replied to you until now.

The Petra to the Pyramids tour arrives into Cairo at approximately 18:00 on Day 8, which in this case would be 29th June by my calculations.

It would therefore be no trouble at all to join up with Treasures of the Nile Valley, which begins in the evening of the 29th June 2008.

Please note that this is based on the assumption that neither tour is altered in 2008 and that the start and end times of each tour remain the same. Although this will probably be the case it is worth double-checking at the time of booking in case of any planned changes to either itinerary, just because departure is in more than 12 months time.
