Hello!
The travel dossiers list the prices for add-on trips/excursions and museum admissions, etc., in U.S. dollars. Are dollars accepted, or just the local currency? Also, can you pay for excursions and/or admissions with a credit card?
Thanks!

Re: Money issues
hi there,
local currency can be accepted. i think the travel dossiers list u.s. dollars as a guide. and most people are familiar with u.s. dollars.
i'm not to sure about using credit cards to pay for excursions and/or admissions. i wouldn't think so, i would think cash would be preferred.
Re: Money issues
Hi,
Gezbelle is right, we list all prices in USD in our dossiers as a guide since this is the most recognised currency. In addition certain costs can be paid for in USD in the Middle East and some of our other destinations but the dossier will specify which currency and in which format we recommend bringing your spending money. In most cases you will be using local currency and your tour leader can also give you advice on this once you have started your tour. Generally speaking it is not possible to pay for local attractions and excursions by credit card.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Brendan
Re: Money issues
Hi,
Could we pay "local payment" and additional excursions in EUR to Imtrav?
will be better for us to change only EUR to Egiptians pounds and the rest pay on EUR (no to change in USD)
thanks
Re: Money issues
Hello Natasha
Thanks for your post. As you are coming from Spain it will be easier for you to take euros on the tour and change them to Egyptian pounds, as you can pay the local payment and for any optional excursions locally in Egyptian pounds.
We aren't able to accept the local payment and optional excursion payments in euros but you will have no problem changing them.
I hope this helps and you have a great time!
