Nile and Beyond Trip

Hi, My husband and I will be doing the Nile and Beyond trip in September. Has anyone done this, and do you have any advice? How was the trekking in the desert? How difficult was 6 hours of hiking a day? Was there enough water provided? Is the full 22 days too much? Any comments on the overnight train trip from Cairo to Aswan? Thanks! I really look forward to hearing from you!
