We've just returned from the Nubian Sail Trek, despite all the warnings from friends and various people at work it has been a completely safe and very enjoyable experience.
Our tour leader Samantha, gave us an easy introduction to Egypt, she kicked butt when it needed to be done, and walked us through the ins and outs of negotiating for souveniers and telling hawkers to (politely) go away. She bent over backwards to make sure we had an enjoyable time.
If you're looking for a way to see the best bits of Egypt, at a fast pace and want the benefits of having someone who knows the place to guide you through, then this I recommend this tour.
