Am booked to do Nile Valley/Red Sea 21/1/07 and Alexandria/Siwa oasis 4/2/07. Just wanted to check that others were booked on these tours? Last time i checked with you in October there wasnt anyone. Im getting concerned as I leave to start the Istanbul to Cairo tour in 3 weeks and would like to know what the situation is before I depart.

Thanks for your post.
On your second Egypt tour, Alexandria and Siwa Oasis on the 4th February, more than 4 people have booked so this tour will be going ahead as scheduled.
On the Nile Valley & Red Sea tour one other person has booked so far. This does not mean that it will definitely be cancelled but there is a possibility of this happening whilst fewer than 4 people have booked.
A decision on this will be made no later than 56 days before departure so in the unlikely event that we have to cancel you'll certainly find out before you depart and have time to arrange an alternative. There's still every chance that more people will book in the meantime.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry to keep bothering you but I just wanted to have a back up plan if things dont work out. I was looking at dates for these two tours and thought maybe if the Nile Valley/Red Sea doesnt fill up I could do them the other way around? Alexandria/Siwa starting on the 21/1/07 and Nile Valley/Red Sea starting on the 28/1/07? Have these two tours got over 4 people?

It's no bother at all and I don't blame you for asking lots of questions.
The forums aren't really the ideal place to discuss your booking in-depth so I have asked our office in Sydney to contact you to discuss your options in the unlikely event that your tour does not operate on the 21st January.
When we cancel tours we try to do all that we can to ensure that this has a minimal impact on your travel plans and each case is handled on a case-by-case basis so I don't want to speculate what options may be offered to you in case that's not what our office in Australia is able to offer.
I have written to them this morning to contact you and as soon as they receive my message they will get in touch with you.
