I was just wondering if during this tour, there was time to visit Madaba (Church of the Map and other churches with mosaics), Mt. Nebo and the Baptism Site or is this something you have to make time for before the tour?
Can all been seen in one day?
Thanks
Joanne

Re: Petra to the Pyramids
Joanne, I did this tour as part of a larger middle east one and we didn't have time to do all that you listed. However, if you go in the other direction - Cairo to Amman (not sure what it is called) you do see everything on your list I believe - OR you could certainly do whatever you didn't get to see on the last day.
on P2P we got to choose what we saw - and we went to Jerash rather than Mt Nebo (primarily due to the freezing wet weather when I was there )etc...
A lovely Canadian lady who I met on another tour later that year did the Cairo to Amman trip and she RAVED about this tour.
Hope that helped somewhat.
Cheers
Tae
PS. P2P was still great though, don't get me wrong.
Re: Petra to the Pyramids
Hi Joanne,
Thanks for your question.
The tour that Tae is referring to sounds like Jordan Connection or possibly the longer Egypt & Jordan Caravan tour.
My advice would be to either fit these activities in on your final day in Amman or possibly stay the night and fly back the day after the tour ends.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Brendan
