We are also considering a Pharoahs Tracks tour. Anyone's comments, ideas, experiences would be appreciated. Our main concern is the hotels maybe too primitive.

Re: pharoahs tracks
Hi there,
Our Pharaoh's Tracks tour is one of our Traveller style of tours. The hotels we use are generally of a 2-3 star standard usually with a/c and private facilities.
Hotels will almost always have a bar and other amenities. We choose our hotels on cleanliness, comfort and the friendliness of the staff. They may not be the very best hotels in the Middle East but I can assure you they are in no way primitive.
This is a new tour for us this year and it would be great to get feedback from any of our customers who have already experienced it.

I did the Kingdoms of the Nile tour last year. I understand that the Pharaoh's Tracks is a close facsimile. The big difference is the Nile cruise (I think)....we were on the MS Amy, while the current tour has a felucca cruise. Check out my trip review at www.geocities.com/ivar9916.
