Ramadan in Egypt.
We have only a week and a few days left before we go. We are very exited.
The whole time we are in Egypt is Ramadan. We are exited to experience it, even it is means most museum and historical places open for shorter time or not at all, and we have only a limited opportunity to visit masqs.
If anybody traveled at Ramadan could advise us if any place open where we can have lunch, (not expansive hotels) or we need to buy food in the store, and take it with us? What kind of food you buying? Not just in Cairo but the later part of the tour.
If our driver fasting, then it is not polite to eat or drink front of him. Where you guys was eating and drinking water daytime? We look some practical advice. We do not want to be disrespectful, but I have some blood sugar problems, need to eat every 3-4 hrs.
Other question: how is the mosquito situation especially on the cruse? Harold has allergic reaction for mosquito bite. We take spay and cream with us but we want to know how bad it is, we need an extra supply or not.
Thank you
Marta
