I am having a huge delima. I booked a tour (Ancient Cities and Desert Kingdoms) with Trek Holidays in Edmonton, AB Canada and after paying for the tour, I received notification that it was booked. I was expecting to meet a girlfriend on the tour for her birthday and now it looks as if I was bumped. After calling your London Office, I was told to contact your International Office (and the rep would not give me the number). The international office is not posted on your web site nor have my e-mails to info and webmaster been addressed. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of professionalism and I would like conpensation (seeing I paid for the trip). No body can honestly tell me what happened (I was even hung up on). I do not feel as if I am treated as a valued customer and should this issue not be addressed appropriately, I will never recommend your travel to anyone.

Re: Reservations
Dear Concerned,
Thank you for posting this matter to us, we can appreciate your frustration.
The online website has an email (info@imaginative-travaveller.com) which is for the public to write directly to the company. The 'Webmaster' controls the online content and has no involvement with the reservation process, emails to the 'Webmaster' would normally concern the website only.
We feature an online 'availability' sheet for all tours on every itinerary page on the site. This is updated every seven days and anyone can view a particular tours availability at any time. While they are posted every Thursday and an available place may be shown on a tour, this may be booked before the site is updated the following week. Thus, our agents would normally contact us first before confirming a place on any tour to a client.
As you can understand our Int Resv dept only deal with overseas agents and not overseas clients, overseas clients deal direct with their booking agent.
As we have no contact details for you here (you are not a registered user)we are unable to contact you direct to investigate this matter further. Please contact our
General Manager 'Warren ' at the following email address:
warren@imtrav.demon.co.uk
If you can please explain your problem to Warren I am confident you will have an reply/explanation without delay.
Cheers
Marty Garrett
Re: Reservations
Dear Concerned,
Our operations department have checked out your booking, as detailed in your post 10th August. Having done so this post seems a little odd.
You had booked this trip with your agent as an 'option' this meant you had a period of time to decide to book or not. And along with this option came a cut off date.
When the cut off date arrived we had received no confirmation and this option was then cancelled and opened to others who wished to travel on the tour.
Your agent contacted us on 10th August asking us to do what we could. We did assist and confirmed this booking on 11th August to your agent.
It now appears you have departed and are on the tour as I type.
We hope you have a great trip.
Cheers
Marty Garrett
