I'm booked on the Alexandria & Siwa Oasis tour in Nov. I'd love to hear from anyone who has been on this trip.

Thanks

Re: Siwa Oasis

Siwa is awesome, meet Mahdi Hweity the tourist guide and tell him that Conrad said hello. And if you see his kids, say hello to Yasmin and Hassan for me too.
Mahdi will set you straight on everything.

happy travels

Re: Siwa Oasis

Siwa is fantastic. For some reason I didn't think that a little oasis would leave such a lasting impression on me. The bike ride out to the fatnas oasis was fun, the temple, shali and the general atmosphere was great. Walk up near the tombs and actually see tombs decorated-without the lines of tourists!!!
The place was great, people friendly, food excellent.......One of the best sites in Egypt.
Oh if you are going to the East West Cafe-have a strawberry lasi for me-yum!
