Hi, I will be doing Nile Safari(Dec 16) and Jordan Connection(Dec 24), then be left alond in Amman on Dec 31. As I would like to continue Syria & Lebanon part, and there is no group to join, I'm wondering if it's good idea doing it solo(oriental female), safety-wise and language-wise... Is it easy to book hotels and transportation(shared taxis)?
Many thanks!!

IVO you should be fine in Syria. Being a guy I found Syria to be one of the top hassle free of the Arab countries. My partner received nothing like the hisses and rude suggestions she got in Egypt. She and I suggest Syria and hope you have a god trip, speand extra time at palymyra and enjoy the hot springs..FREE. The bus trip from Amman is not that long and cheap to Damascus.
