I am really interested in the Egypt and Jordan caravan tour but I am restricted to July for holidays. My husband is concerned that the temperature would be unbearably hot. Has anyone any advice on this?

Re: Temperature in July
Hi..
July is going to be rather... warm...
Northern Egypt (Cairo & Alex) will be in the mid to high 30's and getting closer to the south (Luxor & Aswan)it will be in the 40's. From what I can tell Jordan isn't as hot as Egypt.. but probably in the 30's also.
Egypt is a dry heat, I personally don't realise it is hot as it is... but then again I am used to humid heat..
Hope this helps

Re: Temperature in July
I did Egypt/Jordan Caravan tour Late June/early July.
Cairo was hotter than usually said the locals. Cairo-Luxor it was 30-40. Abu Simbel was a little warmer. My mom was worried about the temperature, but she had a good time and it wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be.
-Plus, there are WAY less tourists around at this time! Great when you are trying to take pics about the temples.
