Just wanted to let people know about my experience in getting a visa. I was a bit worried about my passport getting lost etc but my fears were unfounded.

My friend and I downloaded the form from the Egyptian Embassy's site and sent it and the other required items off on Thursday. The passport with visa inside arrived on Saturday.

Obviously I am only relating one experience so please don't take this as a guarantee that you own visa and passport will travel safely!!!!

I had the same experience, send on the Monday, returned on the Wednesday. Very efficient. Dan

I have had exactly the same experience on three separate occasions. I sent a pre-paid special delivery envelope for the return postage though.
