Hi there.
I'm booked to go to Egypt Feb 17 so I beginning to go through my colthes to make sure I've got everything I need. I was just wondering what the temp. is like at that time of year. I was a little concerned that it was going to be really wonky seeing as Greece has had some crazy and unusual weather this year! also, what is the difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures?

Re: what's the weather like now
Hi Hobo!
I'm not too sure about the unpredictable or 'wonky' weather suddenly materialising, as you say has been the case in Greece?....But I would say that your chosen departure date, February, is one of the best times to go to Egypt, especially when going to Luxor or Aswan as it is not too hot this time of year.
Day and night time temperatures can vary considerably depending on where you are exactly, but the figures I have for February in Luxor or Cairo are highs of 28-30 C (early afternoon) and minimum temperatures of around 7-10 C prior to sunrise.

Re: what's the weather like now
Just got back from Cairo, and the weather is beautiful - not too hot, but comfortably warm. Jeans and t-shirt were fine and it's definitely warm enough for shorts, but in the morning (around 8am) it was a little chilly so recommend taking something a little warmer for that time of day.
