We are travelling with friends on the LOTP tour at the end of May and will have four kids ranging from 11years to 16years. We notice the President Hotel doesn't have a swimming pool. Does anyone know if there is a pool nearby we could use as the heat will almost certainly get to the kids and we need to let them have some time out from the tours. Thanks.

Thanks for your post.

Unfortunately there are no facilities neither in nor near the President Hotel on this tour. Despite the lack of a pool, there are still plenty of safe places within the confines of the hotel to allow them to unwind and get some time out from the tour.

Thanks for the info. We are leaving NZ while temperatures will be around 10-15degrees celsius hence why we wanted a pool for the kids! Looking forward to the trip.

We were at the President Hotel in july and our fantastic guide, Emad, arranged for us to spend an afternoon at another hotel in Cairo that did have a pool for a nominal cost.
