I am travelling to Egypt in April on the Nile Valley and Red Sea tour and I am interested in seeing Abu Simbel, how much is the plane trip to Abu Simbel and how long does it take to get there and how long do we spend at Abu Simbel

Good Day Fab,

As of today the road to Abu Simbel remains closed. Thus far there is no indication of when the road will open.

However, if the road opens at any time from now The Imaginative traveller will introduce
excursions by road from Aswan. In the meantime visitors can only get to Abu Simbel by plane.

The price of the flight in AU$ is available at your agent in Australia (Intrepid Travel)
The journey from Aswan takes approx 55 minutes flight time. Depending on the return flight it's usually approx 2hrs at the site which is located 2 minutes drive from the airport.
