We are looking at taking the Yangste & The Southwest in Sept 02. We have a varied group, ages from 11-69. Our questions are: is an eleven year old allowed when accompanied by his parents; and do you need any kind of travel fitness from a medical doctor for the 69 year old?

Re: Age restrictions

Hello China Hopeful,

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately we cannot accept younger teenagers on tours, even if they are accompanied by their parents.

A person of 69 years old would have to satisfy him or herself that he/she is fit and able to complete the itinerary, and in some cases would have to give medical evidence.

If you would like to see this information, you can view the booking conditions at the following link (look at section 10 for Age, Fitness and Participation):

Regards,
Kelly
