Just wondering if anyone who has been on this trip has any good advice about what to wear? I'm going on Aug 20th till Sept 10th. Not sure about clothes as we're doing so many things, temples and palaces but also markets and desert so I also need clothes that can cope with a camel safari, a boat trip on the Ganges, jeep safari and maybe something nice for an evening.
How to do this whilst travelling light (ish)???????
Please help as I'm a first time traveller and I know I'll end up loads of things that are unsuitable. ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

Re: Another clothing query, from Buddha to Bollywood
Hi Jess,
Thank you for your post!!
This is a tricky question - when I travelled on the 3 week trip from Bangkok to Singapore last year I had a 70L back pack rammed full of clothes and I can honestly say that I did not wear half of them!!!
We always recommend taking one fleece and at least one long pair of trouser - these will be needed for the camel safari as it can be quite cool in the evenings out in the desert. Apart from that make sure you take a sari/wrap with you - this way if you are visiting a temple or similar you can always cover up the place you need to i.e knees/shoulders!!
You are also travelling in the rainy season so you will need a good water proof jacket. There will also be places that you can do some laundry and is not very expensive!!
I hope this helps!!
