I have booked the arrival transfer that is included in the price of the Beyond the Pyramids tour. Is this the meet and assist transfer. That sounds like a great service and would put my mind at ease as a single female arriving in Cairo for the first time. Let me know if this service is extra and I can arrange to book it through my travel agent.
I was also wondering about a departure transfer. my flight leaves Cairo at 6am so I will need to travel to the airport in the middle of the night. Is it advisable to book a departure transfer in advance or can that be easily arranged in Egypt through the hotel possibly?

"A transfer from the airport to the hotel starting point is included for all clients joining our group tours and arriving on Day 1 of their holiday, or before Day 1 of their holiday, provided the extra nights are booked with The Imaginative Traveller"
The above from our brochure is the Meet & Assist. So please check if you arrive on Day 1 or before, if so then ensure you have given your FULL flight arrival details to your agent and then check back that your agent sent those details to our UK office.
It is always worth checking as sometimes agents forget if the flight is not booked with them.
For your departure you can choose to book an escorted private transfer with your Tour Leader, or, your Tour Leader will arrange a taxi from the hotel on the day of your departure.
