Hi!

Does anyone know whether we need visas for the Malaysia and Singapore bit of the trip?

And do we need sleeping bags and/or walking boots?

Re: Bangkok to Singapore

Hi Anna & Laura,

Thanks for your post. On the Bangkok to Singapore tour you don't need to take a sleeping bag. Linen is provided in the hotels used, and also on the overnight trains. The weather should be quite hot so you shouldn't need any extra warmth.

This trip doesn't involve too much extensive walking on uneven ground so
either walking boots or trainers should be fine. The most important thing
is that your shoes are comfortable and worn in - the last thing you want is
a load of blisters when you're trying to do walks.

For our information on visas you should refer to the trip dossier: http://www.imtrav.com/dossiers/sabs.pdf - if you are still worried you
could consult a visa agency such a Travcour on 0207 223 5295 or visit www.travcour.com.

Regards,
Kelly
