I was planning on going on the AABK Bejing to Katmandu tour, where the first 3 weeks is made up of the Journey Across China tour. From looking at the Travel Forum, I gather a number of Imaginative Traveller's tours to/in Nepal have been cancelled.
I've had some conflicting advise given by consultants when I've contacted them on what will happen with this tour if they continue to not being able to go into Nepal. This has ranged from the whole trip will be cancelled, the tour would end in China or they would still go into Tibet but come back to China. Has anyone else been given any advise from Imaginative on this subject/particular tour?

Re: Bejing to Katmandu
Hi TB,
Im currently on the Beijing to Kathmandu trip, about to go to Lhasa in the next few days. With regards to Nepal Imtrav have offered us a free domestic flight within China or continue on to Kathmandu with no accomodation for the final Day of the tour. On the plus side this could give you the opportnity to take in Shanghai or Hong Kong etc however you will need to consider the implications of Visas and onward flights esp if you aim to continue west. I dont know if this will apply for trips not yet started. What I have completed of the tour so far has been incredible, I wouldnt have missed it even I had known about Nepal.
