I am scheduled to take the Beyond the Pyramids tour this Sept.-Oct. I have a couple of questions regarding the scheduled itinerary.
1) Is it possible to arrange a flight out of Luxor into Sharm El Sheik and meet the group at St. Catherine's instead of taking the 5 hour bus to Hurghada and then the 12 hour bus trip to St. Catherine's? This would allow an extra day in Luxor.
2) I have two "Summer Itineraries" which were given to me by my agent. One states that we will hike through Sinai on Day 11 and partly on Day 12 with a stop in Dahab. The second itinerary states that we hike on Days 11, 12, and half day 13 without a stop in Dahab. The first gives us an extra day at Sharks Bay but one less day hiking. Which is correct?
Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Glad to hear that you are coming over, the weather in Egypt will be great at that time of the year.
If you are travelling in September or in October, the itinerary that shows trekking on day 11, day 12 and half day 13 with no stop in Dahab will be the right one.
If you are travelling in November so the itinerary stating trekking on day 11 and half day 12 and then spending the night in Dahab, and then transfer to Sharks Bay will be the right one to look at.
There are flights from Luxor to Sharm El Sheikh with Egypt Air but it is not daily flights. They operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. It means that you can book a flight on Tuesday and then get a transfer from Sharm El Sheikh to St Catherine the same day to catch up with the rest of the group.
This can be arranged for you through your agent or through our company if you booked directly with us.
