I'm thinking of going on this tour in july. My only concern is that I will be traveling alone and was wondering if anyone else is booked or thinking about booking this tour.
Also if anyone has done this tour before please let me know what to expect. What will it be like in july?

Re: Beyond The Pyramids
im going on the same trip but in march. ill be travelling alone as well so dont worry, there are loads of other people who do the same thing. have a good time
Re: Beyond The Pyramids
Maria, that is the beauty of travelling with the Imaginative traveller, you do not need to worry about being alone, as soon as you get to your hotel starting point you will find you have companions on the same trip who are all in the same position and will amaze you how soon you all become friends, have a good time.
I have done several trips with Imtrav and can recommend them to anyone, especially people who want to travel alone, I have made so many new friends by doing these trips, just go with a sense of humour and don't have to many pre set ideas, let things happen, sometimes things unavoidably go wrong and the itinery has to be altered, some people find this hard to bear, I have never found it to be a problem as the tour leaders always try their best to sort it out for you. Wish I was going again.

Jim,
I'm going on this tour in Mar. and was wondering if you could give me a rough estimate on how much spending money per day i'll need? also i'm a little hesitant about leaving my passport with reception at the hotel, what is the purpose of this?
Re: Beyond The Pyramids
biggrin,
Spending money per day is alway's a difficult question to answer as we all have varied budget's, likes and dislikes. But as a rough guide for myself my total spending money for the whole trip came to around
