I posted this on the india section but didn't get a response.
When I booked the buddha to bollywood pushcar trip there was a 10 hour bus ride on day 3, you changed this so we pay for a flight to the border. I was hoping it is going to be possible to use the extra time to see Chitwan National Park while at the border? (I am not sure which border entry/exit point the flight is to) So my question is how has the itinary changed now that 9 hours of travel has been removed? will we be spending it in kathmandu or at the border? your response is appreciated, I will arrange to visit this before the tour if necessary, I just thought other travellers might be also interested.

Re: buddha to bollywood 30th Oct
Hello Bridget,
The extra time on day 3 is spent in Kathmandu, as the flight from Kathmandu to Bhairawa is usually in the afternoon that day (though we can't specify flight timings in advance as these change frequently).
In any case, to visit Chitwan requires much more time. Bhairawa Airport is at least a couple of hours drive away from Chitwan, and because of the security situation in Nepal we do not currently recommend overland travel.
Due to the travelling times involved, for a visit to Chitwan to be worthwhile a stay of at least 2 nights is necessary.
I hope this answers your questions and if I can be of any further help please let me know.
Regards,
Edtrav.
