I am booked on the Sailtrek and Sinani tour of Egypt, the flight I have booked from Athens to Cairo arrives at 02.45am in Cairo, does the transfers included in my trip allow for the fact that I am arriving at that time. ie will someone be there to pick me up? Also how safe is Cairo airport to stay in as my return flight is at 3.45am.

Thank you for your post. Arriving in Egypt at 02:45am you will certainly still be able to get your arrival transfer, as long as you have passed your flight details to us at least a month in advance of your tour date (and are arriving day 1 of your tour, or have booked pre-tour accommodation with us).
Our transfer rep will meet you before you clear customs, and he will be holding an "Imaginative Traveller" sign. If you want to check that you have a transfer booked, email us with your details on info@imaginative-traveller.com and we will get back to you. If you have booked through a travel agent, you will be able to check with them.
Leaving from Cairo during the night you should have no problems waiting in the airport. When I was there recently (also in the middle of the night) I felt very safe, and my only problem was staying awake!
