Hey,
Just wondering if anyone could advise on the weather in Cambodia around late September. I seem to be reading a lot of conflicting information - rainfall seems heaviest in that month, but the guides imply that this is the end of the rainy season.
Would it impede the trip by travelling at this time? Don't want to be trudging around Angkor in rubbish weather!
Cheers,
Kevin

Re: Cambodia in September
Hey Kevin,
Thanks for your post.
The best time to visit Cambodia is between November and February. During these months it is always warm with an average temperature of about 32 Degrees Celsius. After February it gets progressively hotter peaking in April when temperatures can reach 35 degrees Celsius.
Cambodia experiences two monsoons, the South West monsoon from May to October bringing heavy rain and the South East monsoon from October to April ushering in the dry season. September is widely regarded as the month with the highest rainfall.
However it is important to remember that we would never schedule departures at times when we thought that the enjoyment of travellers would be hampered by things such as the weather.
I hope this helps and please do not hesitate in contacting me should you require further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Robert
