Do you have any experience of applying online for a Cambodian e-visa?
(URL: http://evisa.mfaic.gov.kh/)
I'll be on SAHS (Hanoi - Singapore) departing 23-Feb-08 and the itinerary is not clear on exactly where the tour crosses into and out of Cambodia. The validity of the e-visa seems to depend on the entry and exit points.
Or is it as well to apply on arrival at the border?
I'm an Irish citizen.

Re: Cambodian e-visa
Hello ronan,
Many thanks for your enquiry the broder crossing is called Moc Bai on the Vietnamese side and Bavet on the Cambodia side. When you get to the second broder the Cambodian side is called Poipet and the Thailand side is called Aranyaphrathet.
I would always advise that you get you visa in advance as the requirements at the border can change. I would give Travcour a ring to see if they have any better advise call them on 0207 2235295.
I hope that this helps
Kate
Re: Cambodian e-visa
I recently applied for the e-visa at the same initial border crossing and I had it approved and emailed to me in a day
Re: Cambodian e-visa
I applied online (they accept payment by PayPal as well as credit cards) and received the visa by email within two days.
Hopefully there'll be no problems at the point of entry....
Re: Cambodian e-visa
My advice on crossing the border is simple - make sure you have your sense of humour, a large bottle of water and a hat with you![[Smile]](smile.gif)
Cambodian e-visa
Can you please confirm that that boarder crossing from Vietnam into Cambodia (I am on the Hanoi to Singapore trip departing 18th October) is still Bavet. I too would like to get an e-visa and just wanted to check that the boarder crossing on this trip had not changed.
