Jim,
I've just seen in the FCO website that Visas for Cambodia can be issued at the border with Vietnam. What is Imtravs take on this? do you still advise gaining a visa in Hanoi or Saigon before reaching the border?
Many thanks
Dan

Re: Cambodian Visa
Hi Dan
Thanks for your post.
Although visas are normally available at the border for most nationalities, we do advise that you obtain your visas beforehand, as regulations can sometimes change quite quickly in this part of the world.
I hope that this helps.

Re: Cambodian Visa
Hi Dan,
I was there a year ago.
The story was then that it was fine as long as you came in by plane - forms and 2 queues in the airport and it only took about 20 minutes from getting off the plane, in siem reap anyway.
Overland however it was not possible. You had to have a visa before entering.

Re: Cambodian Visa
We just got back from a trip which involved taking the bus from Vietnam to Cambodia. It was possible (four weeks ago, anyway) to get the visa at the border, but it takes time and waiting at the border is not the most pleasant way to spend vacation time.
We got our visas in Saigon - go to a Sinh Cafe (internet cafe/travel agent) and they can get the visa for you in 24 hours. They only charge about $4 for the service.
Have a great time - we loved it, especially Cambodia.
